The ideal candidate needs to be a good communicator, problem solver, and be able to engage with children. Serving kids from ages 6 weeks - 13 years old.This is a Part-Time position with morning and weekend shifts available. Morning shifts are 8am-12pm M-F, Sat 8am-1pm, and Sun 1-4pm. Must be flexible to work during school breaks.We are offering $250 bonus for new staff!Skills / Requirements:High school Diploma/GED preferredMust be able to be on your feet the entire length of your shift; lift up to 40lbsMust be able to handle a busy environmentMust possess strong customer service and interpersonal skillsMust be certified in CPR/First Aid & Safety within the first 30 days of employmentBe at least 17 years of age12 months experience working with children (preferred)Be friendly, courteous, enthusiastic, possess a cooperative attitude, and be a team playerBe willing and able to work a variety of shifts, on weekends, and eveningsHave strong communication and organizational skillsHave a neat appearance and be well-groomedBe CPR/AED and First Aid certified or willing to be certified within the first 30 days of employmentBe willing to uphold the YMCA's core values of caring, honesty, responsibility, respect, and faithMust be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal history, sex offender, and reference checksPay Rate:
