Position Overview:

We are seeking an HR Generalist with at least 4 years of experience and HR management expertise. The preferred candidate will have a professional demeanor, maintain effective working relationships with both local and international colleagues and managers, and possess multi-state compliance experience. SHRM/PHR certification is preferred.Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, ensuring fair and consistent administration of HR policies and procedures.Develop and implement personnel policies for continuous improvement; prepare and maintain the employee handbook.Partner and assist in recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviews, and job offers.Plan, update, and conduct new employee orientation consistent with company core values.Develop and implement strategies and action plans for LLYC's inclusion and diversity programs, always in accordance with local, state and/or federal regulations.Manage employee personnel files and coordinate Internship Programs.Assist with mergers and acquisitions during the due diligence phase and provide additional support as needed.Oversee offboarding procedures, including exit interviews and employee separation notices; analyze exit survey data and provide recommendations.Support the company’s total rewards strategy.Design, innovate, and oversee employee engagement initiatives, including employee surveys.Support learning and development initiatives.Manage and administer policies, communications, space management, new hire setup, and administrative tasks.Serve as backup for payroll processing.Support and update monthly reports requested by the finance area or by the local, regional or global management team.Provide immigration support for visas and assist with mobility and relocation processes to the USA.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

In-depth knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws.Broad knowledge of HR practices and procedures.Self-starter with the initiative to independently identify needs and recommend best-practice solutions.Intermediate-to-advanced skills in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Professional and personable demeanor with the ability to ensure privacy and confidentiality.Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Fluent in Spanish

Experience:

4+ years of generalist experience in Human Resources with HR management/lead experience.Proven experience in organizing and directing multiple projects simultaneously.Experience in the communication or advertising industry and agency work environments is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field.SHRM or HRCI certifications preferred.
