Part-time (.5 FTE)We’re looking for a system administrator with experience maintaining the security posture of Linux computing environments. Candidate would administer a computing environment for a team of 30 analysts and developers performing data science activities and developing forward-looking models to enhance strategic decisions about IT performance and capacity.Must Have:
3+ years of experience with system administration for U.S. Government customersExperience with maintaining and administering virtual machines, both Windows and Linux (multiple distributions)Experience administering servers in AWS environmentsExperience with maintaining system compliance and accreditationExperience with troubleshooting technical issues in custom softwareExperience coordinating larger-scale systems administration efforts across multiple technical teams and/or organizationsHS diploma or GEDAbility to obtain IAT Level II certification within 180 days of start dateNice If You Have:
Experience with system state management tools, such as Ansible for Linux and Desired State Configuration (DSC) for WindowsExperience with source control tools, such as GitFamiliarity with programming languages such as PythonExperience with system scripting languages, such as Bash and PowerShellExperience with writing technical documentationExperience with maintaining Elasticsearch or Elastic-stack productsExperience identifying and resolving security advisories and applying vendor patchesAbility to maintain software development infrastructure supporting three environments, including developing, testing, and producing in a fast-paced, highly technical environmentIAT Level II certification preferredClearance:
