The Niles Senior Center is currently looking for a certified SHIP Counselor volunteer. The SHIP Counselor volunteer would meet with individuals one-on-one and provide counseling to individuals who are eligible for Medicare, as well as their families or caregivers, by appointment only.
Minimum Requirement:
Volunteer must already be certified as a SHIP Counselor through the Illinois Department on Aging.Population Served:
Families, Other, Immigrants, Refugees, or Ethnic Groups.Activity Type:
Other, Caring for People, Counseling.Requirements:
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age: 18+.After expressing interest in one or more dates and times you'd like to volunteer, your availability will be sent to the Opportunity Leader who will review and confirm when you should attend.You need to add at least one day/time to schedule.What is the period of time you'd like to volunteer for the days and times you've listed above? Put in the Start Date and the End Date for the schedule you're proposing.
