We are seeking a dedicated Manager for our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. As a leader in pediatric care, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, specialized patient care and managing the comprehensive operations of the PICU. Your role will be crucial in shaping clinical practices, enhancing patient safety, and promoting a collaborative environment.Job Responsibilities:Oversee patient safety and integrate management of information and effective communication skills into daily PICU operations.Adhere to and build upon the ANA Standards of Care and Professional Practice.Serve as a key liaison, enhancing partnerships with patients, their families, and significant others to ensure continuity of care across settings.Lead department-specific initiatives and drive process improvements in pediatric care.Manage multiple levels of personnel, including supervisory roles, and oversee payroll, budgeting, capital expenditures, and business planning.Foster collaborative practices across healthcare teams and maintain strong relationships with hospital staff, community, and other institutions.Organize and supervise human and material resources to ensure optimal department functioning.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Nursing required; Masters degree in Nursing or a related field preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of management experience in an acute care hospital setting, specifically within a pediatric or intensive care specialty.Current Texas RN license or compact license.Current BLS and PALS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.Benefits:Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.Student Loan Repayment and Tuition Reimbursement/Assistance Programs.Generous Paid Personal Leave and 401k plan with 100% match on 3% to 9% of pay based on years of service.Additional perks such as Identity Theft Protection discounts, Adoption Assistance, and an Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).Join Our Team:
