We focus on positivity, equipping teens for change, and growing the whole person in a setting that’s comfortable and feels like home.Job Summary:Evolve Treatment Centers is looking for passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team at one of our 6-bed teen DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) Residential Treatment Centers. This position will provide direct supervision to all clients at the level clinically indicated by the Primary Therapist or Program Director. Responsibilities include building rapport with clients, providing adherent DBT skills coaching, and modeling effective behavior while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries in a mental healthcare setting.Key Responsibilities:Demonstrate commitment to working within a Comprehensive DBT Program and utilizing DBT in working with teensLearn and implement effective behavior contingency management strategies as directed by the Clinical Director and Primary TherapistsUnderstand or work to understand Biosocial theory, DBT Assumptions, Dialectics, and Treatment Hierarchy within 90 days of hireComplete DBT competency examination within 90 days of hire with a passing scoreBuild mastery in utilizing acceptance and change strategies with clients in the milieu as directed by Primary Therapist or Program DirectorOther responsibilities include:Assist clients in moving from dysregulated to regulated utilizing DBT distress tolerance tools dailyEnsure that clients move through the daily program schedule on timeEnforce program rules and implement behavioral consequencesImplement all required safety protocols per standard procedure and upon direction from the Primary Therapist or Program DirectorConduct and document client body checks and relevant findingsConduct client risk assessments per the Risk Assessment Policy and ProcedureFacilitate psychoeducational and skills application groups, as assigned, and complete relevant group notes within required deadlinesDocument client behavior, mood, and affect in Milieu Notes for each shiftSupport clients in completing school and treatment assignments and ensure appropriate use of facility computersDraft and send the Comm Log before the end of each shiftImplement individualized behavioral interventions as prescribed by the Primary Therapist and Program DirectorFacilitate Emergency Drills as assignedNotify Facility Nurse of any client medical concernsNotify Primary Therapist and Program Director of any clinical or behavioral concerns observedReport any safety concerns to the Program DirectorContact the On-Call Nurse or On-Call Therapist as neededAttend Treatment Team meetings weekly and participateAttend weekly Consultation Team Meeting via ZoomAttend weekly skills training group prior to 90-day reviewQualifications:High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or Bachelor’s degree preferredMust be at least 21 years oldExperience working with teens preferredExperience working in a behavioral healthcare setting preferredMust be able to pass background checksPossess a valid California driver’s licenseComfort with transporting clients in the company vehicleMust be willing to interact with COVID-positive clientsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s DegreePay Range:$19-$26 HourlyBenefits:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time OffFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)/Healthcare Flexible Spending Accounts (HSA)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Retirement PlanningProfessional TrainingFree MealsRemote Work/Flexible SchedulesEqual Opportunity Employer:
