Job Description:

The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing relationships with clients in order to increase revenue for the catering department. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the hospitality industry.Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue for the catering departmentIdentify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other sales techniquesBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat businessCollaborate with the culinary team to create customized menus and proposals for clientsCoordinate all aspects of events, including menu planning, staffing, and logisticsEnsure that all events are executed flawlessly and meet or exceed client expectationsManage the catering budget and provide regular reports on sales and expensesStay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in order to maintain a competitive edgeRequirements:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in catering sales or a related fieldProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and project management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office and catering softwareFlexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
