Leidos is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the Project Manager position for the Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems Contract. This person will support the Air Force Defensive Cyber Operations Program Management Office. This person would be a part of the Systems Coordination Team and work at the overall Branch level supporting innovative technologies, tracking dependencies, and ensuring the right information is passed to the customer and the team lead. They would be responsible for understanding how the multitude of teams communicate, inter-relate with other teams, and ensure project status is always updated for internal and external stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage small to medium-sized projects.
- Drive project progress through effective task and stakeholder management to ensure mission success.
- Actively monitor, track, and manage project tasks, timelines, milestones, and overall quality of deliverables.
- Integrate all functions and activities necessary to meet client or customer requirements.
- Direct project team personnel, manage schedules, ensure contract compliance, and serve as the customer interface.
- Provide strong, proactive leadership that engages multidisciplinary teams to respond to business needs.
- Manage project teams, typically including multiple vendors and work centers.
- Present project-related information to customers, internal leadership, and peers.
- Create project management plans, set expectations, and ensure alignment with organizational procedures.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop project scope, objectives, goals, and deliverables.
- Ensure requirements are gathered, documented, reviewed, and approved per organizational/PMO standards.
- Ensure projects are delivered on-time and within scope.
- Monitor and track project dependencies.
- Create a work breakdown structure defining all activities required for project deliverables.
- Establish and provide high-quality written and verbal project communications, including weekly status updates, dashboards, and project reports.
- Mentor other team members as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Master's with 6+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to creating and managing tasks in Jira, ensuring smooth workflow coordination and task tracking within project teams.
- Ability to design and customized Confluence dashboards, enhance collaboration and information sharing among team members.
- Experienced in utilizing the MS Office suite for various tasks, including document creation, data analysis, and presentations, facilitating efficient project management and communication.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders and team members.
- Committed to providing excellent customer service, with a focus on understanding and addressing customer needs and concerns.
- Possess a solid background in cyber or IT, with a strong understanding of relevant technologies and industry practices.
- Must possess an active Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered.
- Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within 90 days.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with defensive cyber.
- Prior experience supporting Air Force Cyber or Cyber Command.
- Possess Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, showcasing expertise in project management methodologies and best practices.
- Prior experience with AFLCMC/HNCD.
- Able to create and manage basic SharePoint sites.
- Agile fundamentals certification.
- ITIL fundamentals certification.
