We are searching for a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) who is not only a strategic visionary but also brings a wealth of experience in the public accounting industry. The ideal CHRO will be instrumental in steering the firm's human resources initiatives, fostering a culture of excellence, and aligning talent strategies with the firm's expansive goals.

Industry Experience

Public Accounting Expertise: The CHRO will have a deep understanding of the public accounting sector, leveraging this expertise to tailor HR strategies that support the unique needs of a fast-paced, client-driven environment. This role requires a leader who is well-versed in the nuances of the industry, including regulatory compliance, continuous professional development, and the cultivation of a client-centric workforce.

Location
  • While the preferred base for the CHRO is in South Florida or New York City, our firm is willing to exhibit flexibility for a candidate whose experience and skills surpass our expectations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a key advisor to the CEO, COO and Executive Committee, providing strategic leadership and direction for all HR initiatives.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive human resources strategy that supports the firm's strategic vision and operational objectives.
  • Lead the transformation of HR practices to support the firm's growth, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion a high-performance culture that aligns with the firm's values, enhances employee engagement, and drives business results.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, development, succession planning, and retention strategies that attract and nurture top talent.
  • Design and implement a total rewards system that is competitive, equitable, and aligned with the firm's strategic goals.
  • Foster an inclusive workplace environment that values diversity and promotes equity at all levels of the organization.
  • Direct the development and implementation of learning and development programs that support career growth and leadership development.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform HR decisions and measure the effectiveness of HR policies and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to human resources, partnering with legal counsel and the CFO as needed.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships across the firm, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for all firm members.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage metrics and analytics to guide decision-making.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law, industry regulations, and best practices in human resources.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a healthy organizational culture and driving results.
  • Strategic thinker with the confidence and experience to implement effective structures and processes.
  • Skilled in public speaking and writing, capable of representing the firm to external audiences and stakeholders.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Master's degree in human resources, Organizational Development, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a VP-level or higher leadership role.
