Our client is a prominent global player in the financial technology (FinTech) sector, providing innovative software products and services to banking, insurance, and other financial services institutions.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our client to drive sales efforts for their Global Consumer Banking portfolio in the North American region. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers in banks and financial institutions, and closing deals that align with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base in the North American banking sector.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities by researching and understanding market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and decision-makers within banks and financial institutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of their Consumer Banking solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer requirements.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software sales, business development, or a related role within the financial technology sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully selling software solutions to banks and financial institutions.
  • Strong understanding of the banking industry, including knowledge of digital banking trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level executives and key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel within North America as required.
