Beverly Hospital is a full service, community hospital providing leading-edge, patient-centered care to North Shore and Cape Ann residents.The orientation period is specific to the orientee and the unit in which you are working. The average medical surgical orientation is approximately a 12- week residency program. Preceptors will be assigned to you for the duration of your orientation. The clinical educator who supports your unit will remain with you through your orientation period and beyond.Come join our Steele 1 team located at Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester. Our team is proud to be the recipients of many Daisy Awards. Steele1 is a medical telemetry unit with a wide patient demographic ranging from young adults to geriatrics. Patients range from a variety of respiratory illnesses, heart disease, end of life care, strokes, and alcohol and drug withdrawal. Here you can become IV certified and part of the Code team, trained in the use insulin drips, cardiac drips and more through education with our unit dedicated nurse educator.As a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Inpatient Team, you will be responsible for the following:Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observes patient's progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectivenessCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patientSupport and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomesAs a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
