Sigma Healthcare team is currently looking for a Labor and Delivery Unit Registered Nurse to work at our client's facility in Fishers.
Shift:
19:00 - 07:30
Responsibilities:
Meeting with expectant mothers for prenatal visits and providing care for normal and problematic pregnancies.Teaching childbirth preparation classes.Providing information, guidance, and hands-on clinical care to pregnant women.Monitoring fetal heartbeat and length and strength of contractions during labor.Coaching women, assisting with any complications and administering medications during birth.Performing tests on newborns after birth.Providing guidance to new mothers on all aspects of recovery and infant care.Using equipment and administering medications related to labor, delivery, and the care of newborns.Labor, Delivery and Recovery of patients Triage capabilities RN Circulate in OR Care of Antepartum patients Willing to float to Post Partum and Newborn Nursery when neededRequirements:
Graduate from an accredited nursing school, associate's or bachelor's of science degree program; BSN preferred.2+ years of recent labor & Delivery experience circulator in ORBLS, ACLS, NRP, Fetal monitoring and valid state license as RN.Basic computer proficiency inclusive of ability to access, enter, and interpret computerized data/information.Effective interpersonal skills to facilitate communication with various members of the health care team, patients, and families.Organizational skills to set priorities and efficiently complete assigned work.COVID Vaccine is a requirement and will be asked if they can provide proof of vaccination (vaccine card)
