Job Description
Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. Maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Essential Responsibilities May Include
Creates instructions for machining parts using MasterCamReviews 3D CAD design blueprints (SolidWorks)Makes calculations for programming including where materials should be cutTranslates instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) programCommunicates with engineers and clients who will use the programsChecks completed programs by running simulations or testsDetermines sequence of operations in a programWrites programs and modifies existing ones for increased efficiencyAnalyzes and selects speeds and cutting tools for programsPrepares and sets up CNC machines to run first parts
Basic Qualifications & Education
Minimum of 3 years programming experience in CNC machined partsMUST have advanced knowledge of programmingStrong understanding of 4 and 5 Axis machining, materials, processes and tolerancesMechanically able to assemble and disassemble parts and assembliesSelf-starter with excellent time management skills and ability to establish objectivesAbility to manage multiple duties, set priorities and follow tasks through completionCapable of working in an environment in which demands and priorities changeHigh School diploma or equivalent
Salary: $35 - $45 per hour#J-18808-Ljbffr
