The web developer role will involve a broad range of tasks related to developing and supporting the cQuant.io’s software-as-a-service platform and infrastructure.Job ResponsibilitiesWork as part of a team developing applications and services using Agile development methodsDeveloping new user-facing features using React.js and backend features using Node.jsWriting reusable, testable, and efficient codeTranslating designs and wire frames into high quality front end and back end codeIntegration of user-facing elements developed with server-side logicDesign and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applicationsImplementation of security and data protectionContribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructureRequired Technical SkillsThorough understanding of React.js and Node.jsExperience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux) and Node frameworks like ExpressKnowledge of utilizing cloud technologies including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure etc.Experience with developing and deploying on LinuxAbility to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirementsA knack for benchmarking and optimizationProficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitProficient with databases such as PostgresQLStrong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitudeEducation & ExperienceBachelor's in Computer Science or other relevant field of study2+ years of web/software development experience with complex modern web applicationsSalary and BenefitsSalary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 depending on experience.Benefits include generous paid time-off (PTO) policy, choice of working from home or office, and a generous monthly stipend to put towards our great health, dental and visions insurance.
