is actively seeking an experienced

HM&E Supply Coordinator

to support the NAVSEA Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM) for Hull Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) Material Manager in

Washington, DC . The position requires demonstrated experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders across the Surface Warfare Enterprise (SYSCOMS, TYCOMs, Technical Warrant Holders, Fleet, DLA and OEMs) to support emergent tasks and seek resolutions to life cycle and sustainment issues. The key attributes needed for this position are someone with demonstrated experience developing and managing the Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements for Navy systems.

Typical Responsibilities:Provide direct program support to the HM&E Material Manager.Conduct analysis of product deliveries and or supply chain processes to identify or recommend changes, to maximize material levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, and or minimize cost.Analyze, validate, and present data for cross-organization processes and improvements/Initiatives.Develop point papers, briefings, budget documents and other administrative documents for leadership.Take succinct meeting minutes/notes and track actions to completion.Execute day to day processes and perform data management applying a combination of material data mining, data modeling, and data analysis to identify high usage/high failure parts, cost/benefit, and or problem analysis utilizing data driven sources.Participate and support Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) and Obsolescence Management IPTs/WGs.Develop program Plan of Actions and Milestones, identify critical paths, program risks, and mitigations plans.Compile program level briefs, status reports or special tasking in response to emergent requests for information or resolution of problems utilizing various resources and data analysis.Coordinate and participate in working groups, program development forums, analytical activities and other forums as required to accomplish program requirements.Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Location:

Full time at NAVSEA Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Partial local remote (within commuting distance) may be available.

Typical Physical Activity:

Desk/computer work in an office environment. May involve: repetitive motion.

Secret Security Clearance Required:

This position requires an existing DoD Secret security clearance. A qualified candidate will already possess an active Secret clearance.

Typical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:High school diploma/GED equivalent or relevant Navy “A” or “C” school.At least five (5) years of technical or operational experience working with U.S. Navy surface ship HM&E systems - preferably Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Cranes, Davits, Compressed Air, or Helo Hanger Doors.Previous experience working in the supply system to include knowledge of various supply and sustainment related databases/tools such as: NMD, One Touch, FedLog, FED Mall, LogiQuest, MRDB, HM&E Online Report, eCANNAB, SMDII, Jupiter, MBPS.Experience/familiarity with:Navigation Plan Implementation Framework (NIF) R3Acquisition Advice Codes (AAC)Source, Maintenance and Recoverability (SMR) CodesDesignated Overhaul Point (DOP) assignment processDMSMSMaterial data mining and system/data analysis.Class Standard Work Templates (CSWTs).Navy provisioning process, provisioning technical data (PTD), and configuration management.12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements.Product support elements (engineering, supply, tech data, maintenance, training, support equipment, etc.) and their impacts on system readiness.Planning, Budgeting and Execution, (PB&E) Process to include understanding of Baseline Assessment Memorandum (BAM) process/timeline.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).Experience with meeting planning/coordination and facilitating working groups/IPTs.Strong writing skills (e.g., reports, meeting minutes, meeting summaries, briefs, documenting and tracking action items).Strong Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., using formulas, using VLOOKUPs).Ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasking and represent at technical meetings.Strong communication skills.
