Analyze, design, verify, validate, implement, apply and maintain software systems. Appropriately apply discrete mathematics, probability and statistics, and other relevant topics in computer science and supporting disciplines to complex software systems. Generalize techniques, as appropriate, to apply to multiple domains. Develop and provide appropriate documentation and training. Present briefings and demonstrations to stakeholders.
Capabilities
Use leading edge technologies to develop analytics pulling data from multiple cyber sources.Develop prototypes answering new questions as well as providing better answers to existing questions.Develop new ways to represent the data using data science methods and automating analytic processes using machine learning frameworks.Work directly with the customer in a highly collaborative, integrated environment.Design, develop, test, deploy, and document big data cloud computing workflows.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience. An Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.Computer Science (CS) degree or related field.TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.Required Technical Skills
Experience with Java, Pig.Customer GHOSTMACHINE analytic development.Experience with Hadoop (Map Reduce, Accumulo, & Distributed File System (HDFS)).Experience with software configuration using Gitlab, Git, Gitflow, and Nexus.Experience with Linux (Red Hat version 3 – 5+).Desired Technical Skills
Some networking knowledge.Experience developing analytics in the Query Time Analytics (QTA) environment.Experience with Maven and web services development, Zoom workflows.Familiarity with network encrypting protocols (i.e., IKE/IPsec, TLS, and technologies such as Tor).Familiarity with customer corporate tools such as DX.Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.Formal or informal leadership experience.
