PHYSICAL THERAPIST75-125K + Bonus + Full Benefits + Paid RelocationJob SummaryResponsibilities:- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities.- Implement and administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, flexibility, and function based on each individual patients need.- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.- Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention techniques.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.- Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy techniques, technologies, and best practices, integrating them into clinical practice as appropriate.- Expected to meet the needs of having patient execute Plan of Care including but not limited to following up with patients if non compliance occurs.- Be a team player to utilize non clinical staff to support needs of the caseload- Proper delegation and use of PTA when applicable.- Be an active participant in helping to drive a collaborative culture based on our service vision- Ability to adapt to change in patient schedules and daily patterns.- Adhere to ethical and professional standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.Essential Job Functions:- Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine therapy needs and establish treatment goals.- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific conditions and functional limitations.- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities effectively to promote recovery and improve patients' physical well-being.- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing education and support throughout the rehabilitation process.- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.Qualifications:- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.- CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations.- Strong clinical skills with experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy (preferred).- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.- Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.Physical Requirements:- Mobility: Ability to move around freely to assist patients and therapists.- Lifting: Capable of lifting and carrying equipment or assisting patients as needed (up to 50 pounds).- Standing: Extended periods of standing and walking during therapy sessions.- Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in handling therapy tools and equipment.- Visual and Auditory Skills: Ability to observe patients and communicate effectively.- Flexibility: Adaptability to changing tasks and schedules in a dynamic healthcare environment.
