Physician: Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Boise at St. Luke's Health System in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Overview St Luke's Children's Center for Neurobehavioral Medicine in Boise seeks a BC/BE Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our incredibly capable and fun team currently comprised of four board certified child & adolescent psychiatrists, two clinical psychologists, and six onsite therapists. We have four full time RNs, a full time MA and a Care Coordinator, as well as five full time administrative support staff. Clinic hours are 8 to 5, Monday through Friday. Physicians currently have 4 days per week in clinic and one administrative day. We have a co-management model where we co-manage patients with primary and specialty care. The physicians see patients for 6.5 hours per day and help our community based primary care providers manage their patient population. We schedule 90 minutes for a new patient consult and our follow up appointments are 30 minutes long. Our providers share patients and continuously consult and provide updates on the patient's progress or any concerns with one another. We also have an onsite Partial Hospitalization Program and an Intensive Outpatient Program. We are advocates of integrated mental and behavioral health with therapy support integrated into primary and specialty care. The Children's Mental Health team is part of a broader team that includes Developmental Pediatrics and Neuro and Behavioral Psychology. Our programs continue to grow and is well supported by the Hospital System.
