Overview:

Good Shepherd Hospice is looking for passionate, dedicated RN to provide End of Life care to patients at home.Our Hospice RNs:The Community Hospice RN is responsible for providing nursing care to hospice patients, residents and/or family within their home setting, focusing on symptom management and pain control.The ideal candidate will have knowledge of hospice concepts, philosophy, policies and procedures. Prior experience in home care, hospice and/or oncology preferred.Job Details:BAYLOR PROGRAM

TWO 12 HOUR SHIFTS EVERY WEEKEND

FULL TIME PAY AND ELIGIBLE FOR A $10,000 SIGN ON BONUS

Community Hospice RN

is responsible for providing nursing care to hospice patients, residents and/or family within their home setting, focusing on symptom management and pain control. The quality of care provided will be consistent with the Standards of Practice determined for the hospice program.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of hospice concepts, philosophy, policies and procedures. Prior experience in home care, hospice and/or oncology preferred.

Position Qualifications:Current and valid NY State license to practice as a Registered Nurse.Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationOne to two years recent acute care nursing experience with excellent assessment skills

Posted Salary Range:USD $95,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr.
