Operate a straight truck, tractor-trailer, or double trailer. Deliver products or assets in a safe and timely manner to customers, warehouses, distributors, etc, according to the delivery route schedule as determined by the Supervisor. Demonstrate high standards of customer service. Communicate frequently with peers, supervisors, and others.

Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations and policies adhering to all safety practicesDeliver products or assets according to route schedule and customer delivery expectations (e.g., put deliveries inside coolers and walk-ins) in a safe and timely manner. Follow designated routes and schedules unless otherwise directed by supervisory personnelReport delivery delays to management due to road conditions, accidents or breakdownsBased on route design, load and unload product as required at designated stops (2-wheel cart and/or pallet jacket); may include stocking and ordering of product (varies from route to route)Communicate effectively and maintain good relations with customers and report any problems to the driver supervisor or managerEnsure and/or perform proper maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment used (tires, fuel, oil check, etc.) and maintain a clean vehicleComplete all daily paperwork fully and correctly each day. Maintain all log and trip records according to company policy and DOT guidelinesPerform load inventory and document condition of freight before departureAttend all driver workshops and training sessionsUse company supported applications or systems properlyRepresent DFA positively and professionally at all times during interactions with customers or other individualsThe requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
