Nurse Practitioner
to join their growing inpatient Palliative Care team in Charlotte, NC. Qualified candidates should demonstrate a record of experience with a strong interest in palliative care and advanced illness.Position Highlights:Inpatient roleJoin large team of experienced physicians, NP's, RN's, SW's and chaplain support.Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pmAverage Daily Patient Volume: 5 - 6Weekend flexibility for call is required. Call coverage is approximately 5x/year. Primary call responsibilities are primarily telephonic. (Supervising Physician as backup call).Excellent work culture & collegiality among providers and staffIdeal Candidate:Graduate of an accredited NP program with a master's degree or doctorate degree in nursing practice (Acute Care and Adult preferred but will consider Family)Board Certified in Hospice & Palliative within 18 months of hire.Knowledge of medications and prescriptive authority per state law/current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.The Charlotte, North Carolina region is composed of 16 counties, including four counties in South Carolina, with the city of Charlotte serving as the hub. Located in the heart of the Southeast, Charlotte lies within the southern Piedmont of North Carolina, along the state's border with South Carolina.
