AHMGs advanced practice providers manage the treatment and care for our patients in the practice setting, as well as at AdventHealths eleven campuses in Altamonte Springs, Apopka, Celebration, AdventHealth for Children, East Orlando, Kissimmee, Orlando, Winter Park, Waterman, Winter Garden, and AdventHealth for WomenAHMG Primary Care at Magic Training Center - APRN or PA-CFull Time Outpatient Position Located in Maitland, FLGeneral Summary:The APP, under the supervision of the Physicians is responsible for:Performs physical examinations of patients, assessment and treatment of injuries or illnesses for 18+ through geriatric patients, including womens healthOrders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, X-ray, etc.Independent and collaborative medical management of acute and chronic conditionsMonitors the patients course of treatment and makes appropriate referral to either a physician or specialist, as neededMaintain accurate records and schedulesCollaborates with physician supervisor and staff, as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staffEducate patients and their families on conditions, disease, epidemics and preventionPromote good health practicesSchedule Details:4 or 5 day work week availableOptional condensed work week availableKnowledge and Skills Required:Enthusiastic team playerStrong medical decision-making and communication skillsWillingness to learnFlexible, adaptable to changeMust demonstrate excellence in patient focused medical care & delivery of careEducation and Experience Required:Masters degree in Nursing (FNP) or Physician Assistant studies2-3 years experience treating patients of all ages and a variety of acute & chronic conditions highly preferredLicensure, Certification, and Registration:Current, valid Florida APRN or PA-C licenseCurrent, valid DEA licenseANCC, AANP or NCCPA (or equivalent) certificationCurrent BLS required; ACLS preferredHospital Description
