Position Description:
We are seeking a passionate Mid-Level Cloud Software Engineer that is looking to take the next step in their career. Responsibilities include playing a key role in the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based applications and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and will lead the implementation of scalable and resilient solutions on cloud platforms.
Desired Skills:Experience with Java and pythonExperience with OpenSource (NoSQL) productsExperience with Map/Reduce, Hadoop (HDFS), Hive, Pig, JavaScriptExperience with Big-Data Cloud ScalabilityExperience designing and developing automated analytic software, techniques, and algorithms, as well as compute cluster monitoring toolsExperience with Accumulo internals, to include configuring, tuning, and testing Accumulo in many configurations (>200 node clusters)Agile development experienceLinux fundamentals and knowledgeFamiliarity with source code management practices and toolsExperience with enabling tools: Git, Maven, JiraExperience with CI/CD testing: Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab, CI/PipelinesExperience with continuous monitoring: ELK Stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana)Experience with Docker and KubernetesExperience with AnsibleRequirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen.Must hold an active clearance with a Full Scope PolygraphBachelor's degree in a computer science related field is required3-5 years of experienceHadoop or Cloud certification is requiredPhysical Requirements:
