Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated EDI Support Analyst with expertise in RPG programming on the AS400 platform to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and extensive experience in providing technical support for EDI transactions. In addition, proficiency in RPG programming on AS400 is essential for this role. The EDI Support Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of EDI processes, resolving technical issues, and optimizing EDI workflows to meet business requirements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our B2B integration initiatives.

Overview:

Responsibilities:

•Provide technical support for EDI transactions, including troubleshooting issues related to data transmission, document processing, and system integrations.

•Monitor EDI workflows and transaction logs to identify errors, failures, or performance issues, and take proactive measures to resolve them in a timely manner.

•Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external trading partners to troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues, ensuring compliance with EDI standards and specifications.

•Configure and maintain AS400-based EDI systems, including mapping documents, setting up trading partner profiles, and managing communication protocols (e.g., FTP, AS2).

•Develop, modify, and maintain RPG programs on the AS400 platform to support EDI processes and integration with internal systems.

•Conduct regular audits and validations of EDI data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business rules and regulations.

•Document EDI processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures, and provide training to support staff as needed.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, product group, and customer service, to implement new EDI initiatives and streamline business processes.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

•Proven experience in EDI support roles, with a strong understanding of EDI concepts, standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT), and connection protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP).

•Proficiency in RPG programming on the AS400 platform, including RPG IV (ILE RPG) and RPG Free Format.

•Hands-on experience with AS400 systems administration, CL programming, and IBM iSeries Navigator.

•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

•Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.

•Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
