---------RESPONSIBILITIES -------- Join the business data governance team, quickly learn the existing operational data governance processes and corporate data governance and security standards, and team-up with a project manager and data analyst to implement the following data governance foundational artifacts for Customer Success data and Support data:
* Customer Success (OrgCS) Data Dictionaries with ownership, definitions, classification, lineage* Customer Success scorecard (CSS) dictionaries with ownership, definitions, classification and linage* Data quality scorecard for CSS attributes and profiling* Assessment of the existing data policies for CSS and recommendations on issues/risk pertaining to CSS* Identification of data stewards and governance model to ensure the compliance of CSS* Data flows for critical data between org62 and orgCS, including critical data used in Customer Success Scorecard* New/expanded Data Governance Councils as needed* Data policies for critical data elements* Identify and prioritize initiatives to improve data handling/security and metadata quality* Create an aligned proposal for long-term governance needs given initiatives/backlog
-- To be successful, the business data analyst will need to:
* Work with cross-functional business owners to analyze data and metadata quality issues, understand processes and policies that impact our data and metadata quality, and frame recommendations to improve and scale Salesforce's data quality* Interact daily with the business data governance team, and the project manager to align on the proposal for the new governance model, and to ensure the smooth delivery of all deliverables* Analyze objects and fields' integration across the sales and customer support systems, as well as the Customer Success Scorecard key metrics, to identify the Customer Success and Support critical data elements* Create and implement reports and dashboard showing data and metadata quality issues within our application (e.g.: field and object limits, minimum data required compliance, etc ...)* Analyze usage of data and provide recommendations for domain categorization, sensitivity classification, business team ownership* Ensure adherence to corporate data management and data security standards* Be accountable to ensure deliverables are created following high quality standards
-----SKILLS -------- Over 5 years of experience as a business data analyst-- Experience in Data Privacy and Data Protection-- Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams-- Must excel in data analysis, problem solving, and communication, with a high degree of attention to detail-- Proficient with creating queries and analyzing data using Excel/G-Sheets and Salesforce Reports-- Experience in working and communicating with both information technology and strategic business teams-- Adept at integrating disparate information, analyzing large tables of data, and interpreting correlations to build recommendations for the business-- Ability to tell compelling stories and explain complex issues in simple ways-- Ability to work with deadlines and in a fast-paced environment-- Salesforce Advance Admin Certified preferred-- Salesforce object model & SOQL experience preferred-- Experience in building and creating reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com-- Experience in analyzing business processes across multiple data domains (i.e. Customer, Employee, Marketing)-- Experience in Customer Success, Customer Support, or Data Governance is a plus
