Presales Solution Architect - Digital Workplace is responsible for driving and co owning digital workplace solution sales, business development and marketing activities across North America. This role will work closely with North America sales team, virtual teams for Center of Excellence, Technology alliances, field services partners and will require travel for pursuits. Presales Solution Architect will have technical ability and market understanding to bring out best of emerging technologies and customers' requirements to valuable juncture. The Solution Architect will be required to maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge across a broad set of foundational technologies as well as at least one specific technology set to serve as the subject matter expert for that specific subject on a national and/or global scale.
Practice Summary:
Digital Workplace Solutions includes a focus on technologies inclusive of Service Desk, End User Computing, Desktop Engineering, Field Services, Microsoft Cloud; Business Productivity Applications, Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC), windows 10 migration, O365 & Skype for Business migration. This will also need collaboration with technology partners to showcase next gen initiatives and build got to market strategies. Mobile, VDI, BYOD solutions based on various technologies.
Responsibilities:
•Be a leader in technology services solution sales, be agile to accommodate ever changing sales pursuit requirements
•Next gen technology sales for digital assistant, chat bot, artificial intelligence and cloud solutions
•Collaborate and lead solution prep along with geographically distributed teams to achieve winning solution
•Comply for sales pursuit and timelines for timely closing agreed action items, proactively review solutions and third party components
•Achieve great working relationships with Analyst, OEM sales and Field services partners, for quick turnaround in time of need
•Travel to customer locations for solution defense and other proactive meetings, Travel 70% is expected
•8+ years of experience in respective field of digital workplace service operations, sales and consulting
•Be assertive in creating a winning solution which is commercially acceptable, aligned to customer demands and provides sales target achievement.
