The Concrete Delivery Professional is responsible for driving and delivering concrete to industrial, commercial, and residential construction job sites in a safe and efficient manner adhering to DOT and company rules and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Operates and drives a ready mix truck in a safe and efficient manner adhering to the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Dolese rules and regulationsDemonstrates an understanding of health, safety, and environmental practices at the workplace and continuously follows all safety rulesPerforms weekly maintenance, record, and inspection on vehicles to include fueling, cleaning, tire/light inspection, and checking and adding fluids as neededPerforms pre-trip and post-trip inspections in a timely mannerVisually inspects the consistency of concrete in the mixerUses water hoses, brushes, and other cleaning supplies to maintain a clean mixer truckCompletes and maintains a DOT Daily Log BookUnderstands and communicates job hazards and directs workers either directly, through two-way radio, or using hand signalsUtilizes tools and technology relevant to the role (eTicket, etc.)Exercises good judgment regarding worksite access, unloading, and operation to and from the delivery siteAssists maintenance with repairs as neededMaintains a positive attitude around coworkers and customers and acts in a professional and courteous mannerAssists in training of coworkers as neededRegular, reliable attendance at the worksite or assigned work locationOther duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as assignedQUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Must possess a Class A or Class B CDL licenseMust have a clean and safe driving recordAbility to maintain an active DOT qualificationAbility to perform well in a team environmentSelf-motivated, organized, and able to work without direct supervisionWillingness to work nights, overtime, and weekends as requiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work up to 16 hours, with a maximum driving time per day of 11 hours and able to work according to DOT Hours of Service RegulationsLift objects of various dimensions and up to 100 lbs. of weight frequentlyAbility to perform sustained overhead reachingAbility to work in areas with the potential for high noise levelsAbility to tolerate working at heights up to 12 feetAbility to work near, around, or on light or heavy equipmentAbility to repeatedly climb stairs and climb laddersAbility to repeatedly balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objectsAbility to use vibration tools frequentlyAbility to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather conditionsAbility to repeatedly reach, squat, and tolerate prolonged standing/walking/sittingAbility to repeatedly walk on uneven surfaces
