Registered Nurse

JOB TITLE (25000): Registered Nurse / Skilled Nursing Facility- Jersey City, NJ Minimum of 1 year recent experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to fill an opening with a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Jersey City, NJ Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse: Maintain accurate, complete health care records and reports. Administer medications to patients and monitor them for side effects and reactions. Prescribe assistive medical devices and related treatments. Record patient vital signs and medical information. Order medical diagnostic and clinical tests. Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions. Administer non-intravenous medications. Assess, implement, plan, or evaluate patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members. Modify patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses. Requirements Must have an active New Jersey State license Must have at least 1 year of recent experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing. Experience in a supervisory capacity is preferred Must have a thorough knowledge of nursing techniques and practices Must have the ability to handle/manipulate instruments and equipment and supervise nursing functions Must possess an empathetic attitude towards residents and be able to gain their confidence Must have the ability to recognize and identify symptoms and make decisions quickly in emergencies Must have full command of the English language, including understanding technical concepts Benefits The salary for this position is $50 / hr The is a Full-time or Per Diem position Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is a nationwide recruitment agency, matching both new grads and advanced practitioners to hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, multi-specialty groups, and private practices.
