Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to fill an opening with a skilled nursing facility located in Denville, New JerseySchedule of the Licensed Practical Nurse:This is a Part-time positionMonday, Tuesday, Friday8:00 AM - 4:30 PMResponsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse:Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and assist in the development of patient care plans.Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians in accordance with established protocols.Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure accurate documentation of all nursing interventions.Assist physicians during examinations and minor medical procedures, maintaining a sterile and organized environment.Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and post-procedural care.Ensure timely and accurate charting of patient information in electronic health records (EHR).Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless communication.Maintain infection control standards and adhere to all safety protocols.Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and managing medical records.Foster a positive and compassionate environment for patients, addressing their concerns with empathy.RequirementsMust have a valid LPN license in NJ with a clear understanding of state nursing regulations.Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working as an LPN in a healthcare setting, preferably in a doctor's office.Must be proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare software.Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Must know medical office procedures, including scheduling and medical record management.Must have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.CPR certification and additional certifications may be required based on state regulationsBenefitsThe salary for this position is $35 / hr401(k)Continuing education creditsEmployee assistance programEmployee discountPaid sick timePaid trainingReferral programTuition reimbursementGreenlife Healthcare Staffing is a nationwide recruitment agency, matching both new grads and advanced practitioners to hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, multi-specialty groups, and private practices.If you would like to learn more about other opportunities we offer, please call our office: (800) 608-4025 or submit your Resume/CV to hr@glhstaffing.com
