For our long-term multiyear project, we are looking for a
Certified Project Manager
out of
Madison, WI .
• Support project management on enterprise-wide business intelligence applications and architecture. Develops project charters, plans, deliverables, and other project artifacts.
• Works closely with the project sponsor and IT management to understand and prioritize project tasks. Solves technical problems. Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs a feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives in support of enterprise-wide business intelligence.
• Collaborates with the project team to meet project milestones. Adheres to standards, policies and procedures for the forms, structure and attributes of the business intelligence documentation, tools, and systems. Develops data/information quality metrics.
• Research new technology and develops business cases to support enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions. Participate in special projects as required.
Experience in building effective teams, successfully managing project timelines and budgets, as well as producing high quality project artifacts (charter, project plans, etc.) is required.
A strong understanding Kimball Data Warehouse design principals, experience in gathering requirements for data warehouse projects, and experience in design and development of data warehouse projects is required. Any experience with advanced analytics is preferred.
The individual in this position will also be responsible for researching new technology and developing business cases to support enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions.

Demonstrated experience in the design and utilization of performance measures and reports to manage inventory, analyze cost, and maximize return on investment of monetary and human resources.
Expertise in implementation of large and complicated models and processes in extensive, multi-function education and government environments.
Project Management
Analytical/problem solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
PMI or other relevant certifications
Project (MS)
Experience in data warehouse design and development
Experience in requirements gathering for data warehouse
Knowledge of Kimball data warehouse design principals
Business Objects or other BI tools
Vendor Management
In-Depth Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle Deliverables for each Phase of Development
