Omni Inclusive, Princeton, New Jersey, us, 08543
Note: Need very strong resource of Tandem & Non Stop MQ.
A Tandem MQ Administrator, also known as an HPE NonStop MQ Administrator, is responsible for managing and maintaining the Message Queue (MQ) infrastructure on HPE NonStop systems. They ensure the reliable and efficient exchange of messages between different applications or systems running on the Tandem platform. Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and upgrade MQ software on HPE NonStop systems. Set up and configure queue managers, queues, channels, listeners, and other MQ objects based on organizational requirements. System Administration: Perform day-to-day administration tasks such as managing queue managers, queues, channels, and other MQ objects on HPE NonStop systems. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system availability and reliability. Security and Access Control: Implement security measures to protect the messaging infrastructure on HPE NonStop systems. Configure authentication, authorization, and encryption settings. Manage access controls, user accounts, and permissions for MQ systems on Tandem. Integration and Connectivity: Collaborate with application developers and system administrators to integrate messaging functionality into applications running on HPE NonStop. Configure and manage network connectivity, including firewalls and routing rules specific to Tandem. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor message queues and system health on HPE NonStop systems, proactively identify performance bottlenecks, and resolve issues. Investigate and troubleshoot message delivery failures or other system-related problems specific to Tandem. Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance on HPE NonStop platforms and implement optimizations to improve message throughput, latency, and overall system efficiency. Optimize message flows, queue configurations, and resource allocation on Tandem systems. Capacity Planning: Monitor system usage, forecast future message traffic, and plan for system scalability and capacity requirements on HPE NonStop. Make recommendations for hardware and software upgrades as needed. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides specific to HPE NonStop. Generate regular reports on system performance, usage statistics, and operational metrics. Change Management: Implement changes to the messaging infrastructure on HPE NonStop in a controlled and documented manner. Coordinate with stakeholders to schedule and execute changes, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Upgrades and Patches: Stay up-to-date with the latest MQ software releases and patches compatible with HPE NonStop. Plan and execute upgrades and patches on Tandem systems, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and applications. Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures for message queue systems on HPE NonStop. Test and validate backup and recovery processes regularly, taking into account the unique aspects of Tandem platforms. Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application developers, system administrators, and network engineers, to support and troubleshoot issues related to the messaging infrastructure on HPE NonStop. Provide guidance and support to users of the messaging systems. Tandem MQ Administrators should have a deep understanding of HPE NonStop systems, MQ concepts, and system administration principles. They should also possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment specific to Tandem environments.
