** Forklift Operator****Job Category****:** Union **Requisition Number****:** FORKL001093 Showing 1 location **Job Details****Description****JOB SUMMARY:**Under direction of supervisor and/or leader, operates forklift.**PRIMARY DUTIES:**- Picks up bins (full or empty), supplies, equipment, etc., and transports them to a designated area.- Maintains supply of product and material to and from lines or areas as needed.- Stacks or unstacks pallets or bins.- Loads or unloads trucks.- Stock Juice production lines with pallets and place in Palletizer as required.- Transfer pallets of finished goods to Juice staging areas.- Wrap, tag and place slip-sheets and boards on pallets.- Supply Juice lines with materials.- Cut wrap on bottles at the Juice Depalletizer and place on production lines.- Transfer empty pallets and dunnage to from Juice lines to Packaging Materials.- Transfer bottles from Packaging Materials to production lines.- Removes excess material or refuse as directed.- Completes records as necessary, including daily check list prior to operation of forklift.- Maintains fuel, oil and water supply in forklift.- Keeps work area clean and orderly using common cleaning equipment.- Must be able to work overtime if required.- Responsible for ensuring safe working conditions and safe work practices in assigned area.- Fills, stacks, moves or handles materials weighing up to 50 pounds frequently or continuously. Must be able to use arms, hands or feet to grip, hold, push or manipulate various objects, fruit, controls, or equipment.
