JOB SUMMARYThe Registered Nurse at D'Youville Pavilion is an essential member of the patient care team, responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the unit. The RN will be responsible for assessing patients on admission and throughout their stay, developing and periodically updating the individualized, multidisciplinary plan of care, and reviewing discharge plans/instructions with patients/families, and documenting a discharge summary. They would administer medications, IV therapy, blood, and its components according to established clinical standards and policies.3 West is a 42-bed long-term care unit. It provides needed care to those residents needing long-term placement in a home-like environment.
