Overview:

The

Part Time Driver

drives company vehicles to pick up customers in the local area. He or she delivers, receives and inspects dealer traded vehicles, sold units including out of state deliverie, delivers parts to other dealerships and other duties. the

Part Time Driver

operates within the legal speed limits and in a safe fashion at all times.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, an unrestricted California driver's license and a clean driving record. Candidates must be able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles and must have basic mechanical skills to perform minor vehicle maintenance (checking and topping off fluid levels, maintaining tire pressure, performing vehicle safety checks, etc.). Health, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K, Health & Wellness Program, community involvement and company paid vacation and holidays.Responsibilities:Delivering, receiving and inspecting dealer traded vehicles.Complies with and enforces all safety & security policies and procedures.Follows all company policies and procedures.Maintains safe and secure environment by following safety and security standards and procedures and complying with codes.Performs other duties as assigned.Realizes that business is built on customer satisfaction and stays devoted to guaranteeing satisfaction to our customers.Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and performs routine maintenance tasks.Obeys posted speed limits at all times and all other rules of the road.Deliver and pick up parts to various locations.Build long-term relationships with the customers and vendors you deliver to.Maintain a distribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups made.Inspect, protect and maintain company assets, merchandise and vehicles.Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, coworkers and vendors.

Delivering and contracting sold units to customers that are purchasing from their place of business or residence.Doing out of state deliveries and DMV agreements, which includes scheduling with a notary for licensing purposes.Delivering multiple sold units to a place of business.Driving customers to their locations of residence or businessPicking up parts from other dealershipsGetting weight certifications on units that require it.

Qualifications:No experience necessary.A valid California driver's license and clean DMV driving record.Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.Neat, clean, and professional appearance.Able to multi-task.Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.Able to work independently with minimal supervisionFriendly with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond.Excellent client and customer satisfaction skills.Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members.Must have a high-energy personality.Self-motivated, enthusiastic presence in a team environment.Self-starter and self-motivator.Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.Bilingual a PLUS!Parts Department experience a PLUS!
