Ultrasound Tech with ARDMS in OB/GYN Certification and 1-2 years' experience in a hospital setting .
Duties:
Perform High Risk OB and GYN ultrasound exams under the direction of the Perinatalogist and Ultrasound Supervisor including:Transvaginal ultrasound examsBasic Obstetrical ultrasound examsTargeted Obstetrical ultrasound examColor and Pulsed Doppler flowAssist physician with invasive proceduresBiophysical ProfilesMonitor patient flowOrder necessary suppliesJamaica Hospital, a 404 bed fully accredited community teaching hospital with a Level I trauma center and a large network of community based ambulatory care and one the largest voluntary hospital ambulance fleet serving the City 911 system. This hospital provides general medical, pediatric, and psychiatric emergency services, ambulatory care on and off campus, ambulatory surgery and a board spectrum of diagnostic and treatment services.

Education:
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound programmust be RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) Certified and have passed the Obstetric Exam by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).Nuchal Translucency Certification1-2 years' experience preferred
