Work with sales force (direct or channel partners) by providing technical and business expertise during pre-sales process by engaging prospects or customers by conducting technical workshops (onsite or remote), creating and defending proposals for pilots or full scale deployments of product
Responsibilities: -
- Support sales force to determine technical and business needs of customer
- Demonstrate product (onsite or remote) to prospects or customers
- Conduct detailed technical sessions (onsite & remote) with customer's IT leadership in the areas of Operations, Engineering, Security, Enterprise Architecture and applications management
- Determine the product's value proposition to prospect or customer through business case
- Stay current with respect to product features, roadmap and competitive landscape
- Collaborate with larger product teams and Our client's services organizations
- Represent product at industry events, make representations to analysts and evangelize the product
Qualifications:
Educational background - Engineering post grad or MBA equivalent
Technical background -
• Experience in architecting and deploying complex enterprise products and solutions
• Proven track record of working and engaging at CIO/VP/CTO Level of customers for technical and business areas
• Understanding of
1. Enterprise technology (infrastructure, platforms, COTS application platforms, etc.) and operations (L1, L2, L3 operations, command center etc.)
2. Or Strong Experience of Application Management
3. Experience of 3+ years as Solution Architect in Pre Sales operations for Application Operations or Infrastructure Services
4. Automation tools and methodologies (e.g., Automation orchestrators, provisioning automation, cloud management, performance and capacity management, compliance reporting, ...)
5. SaaS models (on-premise and off-premise multi-tenant architectures)
6. High level understanding of key technology products in the core IT landscape (servers, storage, middle ware, networks, databases)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with various stakeholders (external and internal to TCS
