As a full time Physical Therapist in Acute Therapy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles California, you will assist in performing evaluations, demonstrate appropriate treatment interventions and strategies & Complete discharge planning for patients.

The Physical Therapist in our acute therapy will assist in evaluating and treats patients in accordance with the prescription of the physician. Provides patient care consistent with Scope of Practice Standards and Code of Ethics. Provides care while maintaining safety of the environment, utilizing appropriate communication with sensitivity and attention to special populations, including patients with diverse cultural backgrounds, age, developmental issues and physical disabilities
Qualifications
Education:
Minimum: Bachelor's Degree; Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Preferred: Master's Degree: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Preferred: Doctorate Degree; Completion of formal physical therapy education and training from an accredited institution required for license.
Licenses/Certifications:
Current physical therapist license issued by the licensing board of California
BLS by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
What else are we looking for?
Physical Therapist in a acute setting that has experience performing evaluations, designing and implementing treatment plans, and providing education in a manner appropriate to the age of the patient. Experience with assessment and intervention techniques in a medical physical disabilities setting.
Physical demands:
Able to push, pull, lift up to 100 lbs on an intermittent basis; able to bend,stoop, sit, stand and walk without restrictions.
