Under the direction of, and in collaboration with unit management, performs responsibilities exercising initiative, judgment and independent decision-making within the scope of the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policy and other governing organizations. Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation) in a systematic approach to the direct and indirect care of patients and their families.
* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minne* Must successfully complete criminal background check as required by the State of Minnesota.* Knowledge of nursing principles, policies, procedures and medical ethics equivalent to years of experience.* Excellent communication skills across disciplines and at various levels.* Ability to work in a team setting.* Possession of attention to detail, organization and prioritization skills.* Computer skills including Word.
Min of 1 year ER Exp Required.
Certifications: Basic Life Support, ACLS, TNCC or CALS Desired certifications: NRP, PALS
