The
Massage Therapist
administers professional massage and body treatments to our guests. They must have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, possess a general understanding of body treatments, and be willing to train in our spa's specific massage and body treatment offerings. They must have excellent communication skills and learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet our guest's needs, including selling retail. They must hold and maintain a current state license.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment, and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the serviceProvide consistent professional massage and body treatments by spa protocols and accepted certification practicesBe flexible with the schedule, supporting the needs of the spaProperly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controlsHave complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered while educating and training guests in these areasActively promote home care programs, meeting minimum retail sales goalsUphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and proceduresOther responsibilities to be assignedQualifications:
A current massage therapist license in the State of Idaho is requiredHave enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skillsEnjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personalityExcellent communication and listening skills, as well as basic computer knowledgeA thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, a general understanding of body treatments, and a willingness to train in specific massage and body treatments offered on the menuReach the top drawer of a four-drawer cabinetCommunicate effectively with the public and disseminate information accurately.Interact with co-workers and have a sense of team
