Job DescriptionAt CENTRAL TEXAS VETERINARY SPECIALTY AND EMERGENCY HOSPITAL, We Are Passionate About Offering High-Caliber, Compassionate Service to Our Patients, Clients, and Referral Community. We Are Seeking Like-Minded Individuals to join our Emergency Care team as Urgent Care receivers at our Round Rock, TX Location.
As an Urgent Care veterinarian, you will play a crucial role on our team through outpatient receiving of non-critical, urgent cases that present through the ER service. Such cases will include, but are not limited to, bandage changes, ear infections, non-critical urinary issues, acute lameness, and stable gastroenteritis patients. Delivering high-quality medical care is essential, from presentation to discharge, where you can expect to utilize, hone, and increase skills and knowledge. This role may be perfect for you if you are a general practice veterinarian or a new graduate who enjoys urgent care medicine and/or wants to "dip your toe" in emergency medicine to see if this is an avenue you want to explore further.
You will work with a team of skilled nursing staff, ER clinicians, and specialists. We are looking for someone passionate about providing compassionate care and practicing comprehensive, quality medicine. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are important to excel in this role.
