Role Description
The Warehouse and Deliveries Clerk reports to the Operations team. This position is responsible for providing warehouse services including receiving goods, packing orders and preparing skids for shipment, inventory control, shipping and deliveries via company truck or van and operating forklifts. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work with all departments to ensure product is stored and provided in a timely manner.
Responsibilities and DutiesDrive 26 ft box truckOperate forklifts and company vehicles in a safe mannerReceive, count and verify raw and finished goodsPrepare goods for receipt into inventory or for outbound shipment as small package or full skid shippingFollow shipping instructions and properly label product according to shipping standardsPerform inventory counts and ensure company inventory system has the correct inventory on handLoad and unload shipments from trucksPick orders from inventory and prepare for internal delivery to support manufacturing and client servicesExecute operating checklists to ensure maintenance has been completed on warehouse equipmentOperate shipping stations and meter machine to prepare materials for outbound deliveryAbility to learn other department functions as neededMaintain a clean and safe work environmentFlexibility to work overtime and in other departments as needed to get the job donePerform job duties in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards including but not limited to HIPAA, SOC2, and OSHAQualifications and Skills
at least 2 years experience working in a warehouse environment, print industry experience preferredexperience operating a forklift, clamp truck experience preferredintermediate knowledge warehouse functions of receiving, shipping, and inventory controlcomfortable working within a team environment, meeting team objectivesconfident with a computer as we are a highly technology focused organization and use a variety of applications to collaborate, process, create, and manage productionability to work within a process driven environment, multi-task, and manage prioritiesBenefits and Perks
