Daytime Hospitalist position available in northern Illinois. Position is block scheduling (7 on/7 off) and is open to Family or Internal Medicine trained providers. Only 45 minutes to Rockford, IL and two hours from Chicago. The hospital's goal is to find someone engaged and willing to participate in quality initiatives, etc. Visa candidates welcomed to apply (cap exempt facility).
Practice details include:
Open ICU, so you will have to care for ICU patients and have limited Intensivist support (they do have tele-intensivists available).Procedures welcomed but not requiredParticipate in codes, ED runs.Base salary $300,000Comprehensive benefit plans for you and your family84 bed community hospital.
