NC - RN Oncology - Asheville

Location: Messino Cancer Centers (551 Brevard Rd. Asheville, NC. 28806)Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday (no weekends, no holidays), 8a-5pInterviews: 1 interview - onsite, after 3pm. Possible shadow (case by case basis)Comp: ***-*** is the targeted hourly rate*** Rates are determined individually based on years of experience and internal equity.Ideal: OCN Certified, prior oncology experience is ideal. Experiencing accessing ports and picc lines. Infusion.u5:pu5:pPreference: If not oncology, ED andMed/Surg are OK. No Psych, ICU, L&D. u5:pRequired Experience/Qualifications:• Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of employment, with experience in IV therapy.• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is required.• bility to assess patient needs and condition is essential. Must have strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.• Current CPR & BLS certifications are required.• Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills is required.• Valid Driver's license, in state of residency, for travel to clinics.
