We are currently assisting a top employer recruit for Applications Developer who will be responsible for planning and executing the software development of a Fortune 500 company. Key Responsibilities The design, development, and maintenance of software applications. Creates user information solutions by developing and maintaining internet/intranet applications. Defines objectives by analyzing user requirements. Designs and develops user interfaces to internet/intranet applications by setting expectations in development life cycle; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests. Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers. Completes applications development by contributing to team meetings; Troubleshooting development and production problems. Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools. Updates job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for fulfilling new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Skill/Experience/Education 5-10 years of experience with software architecture and software design. Performs a number of duties, from concept and design right through to testing, throughout the development lifecycle. Keeps the development lead apprised of progress on the project. Responsible for planning and executing the software development. Mentors less experienced developers and advises management on technical issues and program requirements. INTERESTED BUT NOT SURE?
