Job Summary:Assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients (all ages) with pulmonary disordersCollects and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gasesMeasures the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is impaired function.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager; able to function independentlyFamiliar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.Schedule: 12-hour Day shifts; on-call requirements for Night/weekend coverageQualifications:
Requires an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy; Certified Respiratory Therapist and/or a Credential of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)We provide NRP, BLS, PALS, and ACLS if not already heldMust have a license to practice professionally in the State of WyomingInterpersonal skills to successfully interact with patient, visitor, physicians, and other employees
