Sleep Medicine Physician - Waldorf, MD
Position Type: Full-time, 4-5 days per week (could consider 3 days onsite)
Responsibilities:
Provide expert clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with sleep disorders. Utilize evidence-based practices to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Prescribe and manage CPAP therapy, oral appliances, medication therapy, and other treatment modalities as necessary. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Perform and interpret diagnostic testing including overnight sleep studies, multiple sleep latency tests (MSLT), and maintenance of wakefulness tests (MWT). Educate patients and their families about sleep disorders, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to improve sleep quality. Encourage adherence to treatment plans and provide ongoing support. Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine Board certification or board eligibility in Sleep Medicine Active medical license in [Insert State] Strong clinical skills with expertise in the evaluation and management of sleep disorders Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred Benefits:
