Role : Java Developer with AutomationLocation : Sunnyvale, CA (Initial Remote)Direct Client
Job roles and responsibilities:• The role involves the development/customization of the Selenium framework components using Java• Requirement analysis, Unit Testing, ST, SIT, Regression Testing, UAT, and implementation of the Defect cycle will be the key activities.• A very strong technical knowledge of Java to develop the Selenium framework and & good knowledge of API Automation is a must for this role.
Must-Have skills• Java, Selenium WebDriver, RESTful services, JSON, and XML.• Unit test frameworks such as JUnit• Git-based version control such as Bitbucket.• Testing frameworks such as TestNG and Spock• Ability to create acceptance and integration automation tests, integrate with Continuous integration (Jenkins/Bamboo) and code coverage tools (Sonar).• Experience in working in Agile Methodology.• Experience in working with other developers to ensure that systems are designed for reliability, performance, and testability.• Exposure/ Knowledge in cloud-based applications.
