Description:
Performs a variety of standard and specialty diagnostic radiographic procedures with accuracy; responsibly administering ionizing radiation using fluoroscopy, computed and direct radiography (including the use of mobile c-arm and x-ray equipment). The responsibilities of Radiology Technologist include (but are not limited to):Assessing, evaluating, and testing patientsPreparing and positioning patients for imagingAttending to patient needs during imaging proceduresApplying and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety practicesIndependently performing or assisting a licensed practitioner in performing proceduresQualifications:
Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist's certificationBLS Certification
