Job Responsibilities:
Work on reviews of technical deliverables during project verification phase and quality control phasePrepare Test Plan document and conduct quality reviews and walk-throughs; interoperability, integration and system testing on optical networking systemsPerform infrastructure/integration and system/regression testing on different optical transponder circuit packs with traffic generator and supported features with different supported user interfacesCreate different network test setup topologies under lab environment to check hardware/software stability checks for systems including NE/cards continuous reboot checks, active and standby EC database synchronization check, EC migration and EC replacement procedure checksConduct cluster network testing with supported optical transponders as add drop nodes, shelf data inconsistent scenario checks, software database copy creation process and transport, firmware upgrade, load and equipage SPI bus rad errorsConduct in-service upgrades, SOAK, stress and interoperability testing before every major and minor customer software releaseAnalyze failures during automation script test, log the defects, validate fixes and track defects to closurePerform APT Script execution in order to check the basic functionality and features for validationUpdate the test execution results on HP ALM tool on a daily basisProvide necessary help and inputs for the offshore team for various software release regression testing activitiesMaintain deliverables in terms of Service Level Agreement, quality and safetyResponsible for calls with clients for status update and requirement gatheringParticipate in daily cross-functional scrum meetings to update progress of work to the teamRequirement:
Master's in Computer Science/Applications, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems or Electronics/Electrical EngineeringMinimum 2 years experience as Software Test Engineer, Test Engineer or Test LeadNote:
Must be willing to travel/relocate to anywhere in the US.
