Compensation : $51.66 - $51.66 Hourly Client Job Ref ID : ASC-7958|AH-HHC-66321 Start Date : 08/14/2023 End Date : 11/18/2023 Security Clearance : None Job Id : 127 Department: Observation Unit Shift Timings: Early Morning Shift 06:45 - 19:15 HoursRoles & Responsibilities Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Minimum Qualifications Unit Capacity: 16 Beds Population Served: Outpatient and Observation. Cardiac related diagnosis, cardiac observation, ablations, pacemakers/ICD's, and cardiac catheterization. Ages of Patients Served: Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60+) Nurse to Patient Ratios: 4:1 QUALIFICATIONS Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. The ability to stand for extended periods. Strong technical skills. Knowledge of medical terminology Passionate about patient care Requires a minimum of two years of RN Telemetry experience. Graduate from a fully accredited RN program Active unencumbered RN Tennessee state license One year of Epic experience Requirements COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster. SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
